About the Event
• “Our Stories” Filmmaking Educational Series- Filmmaking Workshops, is a cultural exchange and multi-cultural educational program that is centered around the art of filmmaking. This Program is an 8 week crash course that consists of a total of 72 program hours; three (3) hours per class session, twice a week, ending with a culminating event. Students learn: Film History, Theory, Lighting, Editing, Camera, Screen Play Writing, Story Boarding, and how to Budget an Independent Film. All films tackle issues of Immigrants. This class culminates with the actual production of a short film.
