Service Description

The ‘Educated Actor’ course will focus on ways for each actor to properly breakdown the script, and conduct the proper research to develop a notable character and deliver an engaging and memorable performance. Material will cover: Script Breakdown - Together we will breakdown a script to understand the world our characters live in. Script breakdown will help the actor understand the journey the character takes throughout the story and see the story from the audiences perspective. 1.Character Development - Creating a living, breathing character requires the actor know and determine as much detail about the role as possible. Paired with information discovered from the Script Breakdown process this help create a full character which will be remembered and connect with the audience. 2.Audition Technique - Through mock auditions, we will review and understand the complete process of auditioning. How to be prepared and what it takes to book roles for Network TV or Film. 3.On-Set Etiquette - A film set has many moving parts with various departments from camera, lighting, sound, make-up and wardrobe. Understanding how to navigate while working with other actors and the director is a delicate dance, our real world director will give us a breakdown on how to properly navigate while delivering a a memorable performance. Working Actor Julito McCullum plays recurring roles on several hit TV Series and guest speaker for our course Actor, Casting Director and Producer Tuffy Questall has over 30 years of experience in front and behind the camera. Casting Director Mia Cusumano has cast for major films & series such as Trial of the Chicago 7 & The Leftovers Director Greg Cally has directed an Episodic and several short films.
